Barkcamp State Park is located in Belmont County, 13 miles from St. Clairsville. This park's rugged hills are a haven for wildlife & a mecca for outdoor fun.
Hike on 4 mi. of nature trails, or ride your horse on 24 mi. of trails (bring your own horse). The horse camp offers a horse wash station & modern camping amenities. Picnic areas have picnic tables and grills, along with reservable shelter houses. Nature programs & a nature center provide family entertainment all summer.
150 campsites with electric hookups. Amenities include showers. There are 2 wheelchair accessible sites. Pets are permitted on designated sites. Enjoy camping in a Rent-A-Camp tent or Camper Cabin.
117-acre Belmont Lake offers a sand beach. Enjoy laid-back boating, limited to canoeing, sailing or boats with electric motors only. Boat rental & a launch ramp are available. Fishing for bass, bluegill, crappie & trout can be enjoyed from the shoreline, the wheelchair accessible fishing pier, or on the lake. Hunting is permitted in season in designated areas.
2006 Camping Fees are $19 for electric sites. Rent-A-Camp is $30/night, and Camper Cabin is $45/night. Call 1-866-OHIO-PARKS for reservations.
